Vietnam’s tourist company
Vietravel was presented the two titles of the leading tour operator and
travel agency in Vietnam of the 20 th World Travel Awards (WTA) at a
ceremony held in Dubai on October 1.
The travel agency will be
also awarded the Best Travel Agency for Asia prize of the 24 th TTG
Travel Awards 2013 at a ceremony held in Bangkok on October 3.
This is the third consecutive year Vietravel has been honoured with the prestigious prize.
Initiated
in 1993, the WTA, considered the Oscar award of the tourism industry,
is held annually to honour best services providers of the industry
around the world, while TTG Travel Awards, launched by TTG Asia magazine
in 1989, is to vote the best travel agents and providers through
Asia.
Founded in 1974, TTG Asia is a leading travel magazine with 26 publications a year.-VNA
