So far this year the central coastal province of Khanh Hoa has
registered more than 478,000 foreign arrivals, up nearly 25 percent
against last year’s same period.
Of the total,
Russian tourists make up 100,000 arrivals, accounting for 190 percent
rise, followed by those from the Republic of Korea , 60 percent and
Australia , 40 percent.
Flights of Moscow-Nha
Trang route will be increased into two per week for this month and Far
East region will sharply increase as the winter vacation is about to
start. Besides, a direct route between Hong Kong and Nha Trang will be
opened in November.
Khanh Hoa now counts 540 accommodation facilities with around 15,000 rooms.
Recently, the province called for an early construction of Nha Trang
port of international standard to attract foreign cruises.
Besides, it proposed the exemption of visa for visitors from key
markets including Russia, Japan and the Republic of Korea.-VNA
