VietNamNet Bridge – Located at an altitude of over 2,000m with a cool climate all year round, Y Ty (Lao Cai) is colorful with apricot and peach flowers.

Y Ty is an upland commune of Bat Xat district, Lao Cai province in northern Vietnam. Visitors will have to pass the winding road to get to the spring of Y Ty.

Y Ty is located at an altitude of 2,000 m, near the peak of Nhiu Co San Mount (about 2,660m).

One of the highlights that attract tourists and photographers is the wild beauty of trinh tuong houses of the Ha Nhi people. Hidden under red apricot flowers, the trinh tuong houses become more attractive.

However, the grass roofs of many houses have been replaced with asbestos roofing.

Warm weather makes apricot and plum flowers blossom, making a fairyland-like scene.

Living here are the Ha Nhi, Dao and Mong with their unique culture.

Y Ty is about 330km from Hanoi. If you depart at 5am, you will arrive in Y Ty at about 12.30pm.
