Vietnam Investment Construction and Trading Joint Stock Corporation
(Constrexim) on May 30 began the construction of its five-star Indochina
International Hotel in the tourism town of Sa Pa, Lao Cai northern
province.
This is the first five-star hotel in
Sa Pa, with investment capital of over 287 billion VND (13 million
USD). It is also the first hotel built in line with
environmentally-friendly standards.
Once completed,
the hotel will cater for both domestic and foreign visitors with 156
well-equipped rooms, meeting facilities and swimming pools.
Besides this project, there are a number of property projects with
investment capital amounting to hundreds of billions of VND running in
Sa Pa district.
According to Lao Cai province’s
2030 master plan, Sa Pa district will double its area to over
4,000 hectares. It will be an urban area with nine functional sections,
including resorts and tourism centres.-VNA
