More buggies begin Hoan Kiem routes
The People’s Committee of Hoan Kiem District in Ha Noi will open two more electric buggy routes to introduce visitors to French-colonial architecture as well as famous historic sites located in the area.
The new routes were opened following the success of earlier ones that circle Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter.
After three years of operation, the first buggy route has served more than 1 million visitors. With its small size and clean energy, the buggy has met the demand of visitors. Each car has an effective megaphone system that introduces sites in Vietnamese and English.
About 30 buggies are currenlty operating. Within three years, more than 1 million kms have been covered. — VNS
