The Park Hyatt Saigon mooncake collection consists of four cakes in four different shapes, combining traditional and contemporary flavors.
Pure Lotus Double York, consisting of pure lotus paste and double golden premium salted egg York, is cover with a Cantonese pastry skin. The cake is perfect for yolk lovers who crave for traditional flavor. Those who are in love with contemporary mooncakes can enjoy premium green tea with the lotus paste which provides a unique aromatic experience.
The mixed nuts with Cantonese pastry skin is a mixture of varieties of nuts including almond, walnut, melon kernel seed… that makes this mooncake even more tasting. Last but not least, the brand new Red bean Marmalade Mung Bean which consists of red bean paste with melon kernel seeds and marmalade mung bean and orange peels inside a Cantonese pastry skin will definitely bring you a special taste that you have never tried before.

For the jazz lovers out there, starting this August: get ready to chill out to the smooth and soulful rhythm of Pêche À La Mouche in the welcoming ambience of the Park Lounge at Park Hyatt Saigon. The French gypsy jazz band, founded in Ho Chi Minh City four years ago, will take you back to Paris in the middle of 1930s with the relaxing melody of the famous Django Reinhardt and his Hot Club de France Quintet. The gypsy genius Django Reinhardt created this music style and all along the twenty’s century was born his offspring made of talented and virtuosos musicians as Bireli Lagrene, Stochelo Rosenberg, Angelo Debarre, Evan Christopher, etc…

Savor the lobster dinner from Sandegna at Opera
Chosen by many as a summer and beach destination, Sandegna, or best known as Sardinia, is famous for the clear and pristine waters, awarded time after time, and for the variety of its coasts. It is popular for the Emerald Coast, able to offer a mix between green clean waters by day and jet-set and fun by night, but it is likewise popular for the hidden coves and the wildest shores.
Traditional home cooking in Sardinian calls for pastas served with rich sauces. They are also famous for fishing skills. Their signature seafood includes tuna from Carloforte, mullet and lobsters from Alghero.
This month, Chef Matteo at Opera will take you to the beautiful island Sandegna and experience its cuisine especially made with lobster. Starting with “Insalata di astice”, also known as lobster salad, you will enjoy the mixture of lobster, leaves, orange, pine nuts, pecorino and honey chili dressing.
The journey gets more tasteful with the Fettuccine affogate all’astice, or you can simply call it the Fettuccine with pan roasted lobster, featuring cherry tomato and lobster bisque. Traditional Vietnamese dining style is considered a way of sharing and connecting people when all family members gather for a dinner and create a bond among generations.
When you are Vietnam, dine as the Vietnamese do. There is no better way to explore and understand a culture than through its cuisine and dinning style. Therefore, this month, Square One is proud to present two dinner set menus which are served at table with traditional Vietnamese family style.
For those who are in love with local taste, you can enjoy the Vietnamese sharing menu for two. The dinner starts with five color vegetable salad, assorted spring rolls and bo la lot (grilled beef in piper lolot leaves) as appetizer. Then you will try the signature dishes including whole fried tilapia, charcoal chicken and thien ly flower, perfectly served with steamed rice. At the end of the journey, do not to treat yourself to a special house made sorbet and ice cream and a sip of freshly brewed coffee, tea or herbal infusion.
Square One is well-known for Western food as well. This month, you can also enjoy a special sharing menu featuring local and Western cuisine.
