Vietnam Television (VTV) and VNPT Global Joint Stock Company last week
reached a strategic cooperation agreement to enable Vietnamese viewers
worldwide to watch domestic television channels.
This will
be the first time a copyrighted Vietnamese TV channel package is
distributed to Vietnamese communities around the world. The package
includes channels on general news, movies, financial and economic
information, entertainment, health and travel.
Viewers can
find on these channels latest and diverse news about the country. The
two sides have plans to add more channels in the coming years.
VTV
and VNPT Global will resort to the Over the Top (OTT) broadcasting
solution, which has become popular among users across the world. Using
this solution, TV viewers can watch their favorite programmes using
various devices such as set-top-box, Internet TV, laptops, smart phones
