Vietnam has been ranked fourth in Southeast Asia for information
technology development this year, the Vietnamese Ministry of Information
and Communications says in their 2013 White Book report.
In a
separate publication, the International Telecommunication Union reports
that Vietnam’s 2012 ICT development rate ranking jumped five places to
81st among 161 entries and 12th among 27 Asia-Pacific countries.
The rankings are based on internet access, IT application and computer skills.-VNA
