The WhiteHat Grand Prix 2017 under theme of “Vietnam Heritages” was officially opened in Hanoi capital yesterday with the participation of 277 leading network security and software teams from more than 50 countries in the world.

The cyber security competition was co-held by the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications’Information Safety Department and Bkav Internet Security Company, aims to strengthen cooperation, research and network & cyber security training.
Additionally, it is considered as an opportunity for cyber security experts in the world to compete and demonstrate their talent.
The organization board said that the teams would complete at 40 questions in maps and other questions in the fields of Forensics, Crypto, Web Exploit, Revers and Pawnable at the fifth cyber security competition.
The first, second and third prize respectively cost VND 225 million, 45 million and 25 million.
The event runs till December 19.
