“If there is no working trips outside the city, I will go to a café shop to watch the matches,” said Thanh Nha, local resident and football lover.
Huy, another football fan said: “Football season is coming and the local cafes are decorated with colourful flags. I am also very excited and looking forward to the match.”
Meanwhile, Tran Anh Tuan from Thu Duc district is looking for a bigger and more modern television to contemplate the most beautiful moments of this year’s football event.
Duc said that he was so eager to buy new TV set since there are many promotions right now.
The world cup atmosphere is bustling at every corner of the city. The images of the 32 teams competing at the event as well as Zabivaka, this year’s mascot, have been seen at all trade centre, cafes and restaurants across the city.
Nhi, the owner of Kasa coffee shop told reporter that the whole process of decorating the cafe took around a month prior to the WorldCup. That included buying new large screen and seats to provide the best experience for everyone.
All the preparations are finished, and football fans are eagerly enjoying every moment of truth of this year football’s biggest event .
