Vietnamese model Thanh Hang and actor Binh Minh joined a torch bearing ceremony to promote the 2018 Winter Olympics in the Republic of Korea (RoK) on January 11.

Model Thanh Hang runs in -10 Celsius as she carries an Olympic torch in the RoK. The event promotes the Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympics and Paralympic Games scheduled for February 9-25.
Hang is delighted to be a torchbearer advertising this major sports event in the RoK. She said she wanted to popularise the image of dynamic and confident Vietnamese women in the foreign country.
Hang said she regularly trains in the gym, which helped her fight fatigue in such cold weather.
Vietnamese actor Binh Minh (right) also takes part in the event.
Hang said she felt energised after witnessing the solidarity of everyone involved in the event.

The 2018 Winter Olympics is one of the most important sports event in the RoK. Kim Yuna, Park Ji Sung, and Taeyang are ambassadors for the event. Vietnamese actress Kaity Nguyen has been invited to take part in a promotional program for the Olympics organized by the Korean Culture and Information Service (KOCIS) and Arirang TV.
