Photos show Ha Noi since expansion
HA NOI (VNS)— An exhibition featuring the renovation and development of Ha Noi after five years of administrative border expansion opened in the city yesterday.
The exhibition will run until August 5 at the Ha Noi Museum. It features more than 100 photos of the city’s achievements.
Artisans from10 trade villages around Ha Noi are also showcasing their products at the event.
Nguyen Khac Loi, deputy director of the Ha Noi Department of Culture, Sports and Touris, said the exhibition affirmed Ha Noi’s achievements during its development and integration. It also offered a chance for residents to improve their responsibility and love for the capital, he said.
In 2008, Ha Tay province, Me Linh district of Vinh Phuc province and four communes of Hoa Binh province’s Luong Son district were incorporated into Ha Noi. — VNS
