106 used highly enriched uranium rods were transported from Da Lat to Bien Hoa airport in Dong Nai province to be sent to Russia on July 3, according to the agreements on the use of nuclear for peaceful purposes that Vietnam has signed with international partners. This is the last transport of highly enriched uranium from Vietnam to Russia. The nuclear reactor in Da Lat has stable operated with low enriched uranium. The program has successfully confirmed the use of nuclear material for peaceful purposes of Vietnam.
