HA NOI (VNS)– A book launch of memoirs detailing the career of Nguyen Duy Trinh was held in Ha Noi-based National Museum of Vietnamese History yesterday.

The memoirs, entitled Nguyen Duy Trinh – Resilient Communist, Outstanding Diplomat, was published by the National Political Publishing House. The 483-page book is divided into two parts Nguyen Duy Trinh with Vietnamese Revolutionary and Nguyen Duy Trinh with Diplomacy.

The first part includes personal writings and articles by Party members, State leaders and veteran revolutionists who worked closely with Nguyen Duy Trinh over various periods. The writers also contribute in the second part detailing Nguyen Duy Trinh’s efforts to develop Vietnamese diplomacy.

After five years of negotiation, the agreement ended on January 27, 1973, which were co-signed by Nguyen Duy Trinh, Foreign Minister of the Democratic Republic of Viet Nam and Nguyen Thi Binh, Minister of Foreign Affairs for the Provisional Revolutionary Government of the Republic of South Viet Nam. –VNS
