Vietnamese gymnast Nguyen Ha Thanh won the silver medal in the men’s
vault at the Internationaux de France 2013 World Cup C III on March 17.
The tournament was held for the world top gymnasts
and Ha Thanh, one of Hanoi’s trump-cards for upcoming ASIAD and
Olympics, was the only Vietnamese representative to the event.
According to Nguyen Kim Lan, Head of the Gymnastics Department under
the General Department of Sports and Physical Training, Ha Thanh, with
excellent performances, recorded the second highest score in both the
qualifier and the final round.
After the French tournament, Thanh will go to the Challenge Cup in Germany also in March.-VNA
