The National Symphony Orchestra and prize-winning pianist Tran Thi Tam
Ngoc will perform Tchaikovsky music under the baton of Japanese
conductor Shinozaki Yasuo in Hanoi on April 4 and 5.

The concerts will feature Tchaikovsky’s renowned “Marche Slave”, Concerto No. 1, and Concerto No.5.

Tam Ngoc graduated from the Vietnam National Academy of Music and Yong
Siew Toh Conservatory Music in Singapore, then earned a master degree
in Boston Conservatory in the US.

She won several
honourable music awards, including top prize at the Asia International
Chopin competition in Malaysia in 2004, and first prize in solo and
chamber music competitions at the Boston Conservatory for three
consecutive years 2007, 2008 and 2009.

Ngoc is a regular guest performer at famous theaters in Vietnam, Singapore and the US.

The Hanoi – born pianist is now a lecturer at the Vietnam National Academy of Music.-VNA
