US Secretary of State John Kerry left Washington on October 1, beginning his six-day visit to Asia.
During
his visit, he is scheduled to join Defence Secretary Chuck Hagel for
2-2 security talks with his Japanese counterpart, Fumio Kishida, and
Defence Minister Itsunori Onodera on October 2 and 3 in Tokyo, according
to the US Department of Secretary’s press release.
The US
Secretary will be in the Indonesian island of Bali for the Asia-Pacific
Economic Cooperation forum ministerial meeting on October 4, joining
President Barack Obama at the APEC summit.-VNA
