Cambodian Foreign Minister Hor Namhong and his Indonesian counterpart
Retno Marsudi discussed measures to improve their relations and
bilateral collaboration on April 1.

The two sides
discussed a number of methods to strengthen and expand bilateral
cooperation, Cambodian PM Hor Namhong told media after their talks.

Both sides also agreed to lift bilateral trade, which stood at roughly 500,000 USD in 2014, according to the Cambodian FM.

He also asked Indonesia to increase its purchases of rice from
Cambodia and called for direct flights from Indonesia to Cambodia
in an effort to bolster economy, trade and tourism.

The two ministers also exchanged views on ASEAN issues as the bloc forms an economic community by the end of this year.

Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi arrived in Cambodia on March 31 for a two-day visit to Cambodia.-VNA
