Cambodia and Hungary have agreed to establish a close cultural
cooperation and strengthen the friendship between their peoples,
according to AKP.
A memorandum of understanding
(MoU) to this effect was signed last week by Cambodian Minister of
Culture and Fine Arts Him Chhem and Hungarian Minister of Human
Resources Zoltan Balog, who led a delegation to visit Cambodia from
March 6-8.
During its stay in Cambodia , the
Hungarian delegation was received on March 6 by Cambodian Permanent
Deputy Prime Minister Men Sam An, who is also Minister of National
Assembly-Senate Relations and Inspection.
They also visited the National Museum in Phnom Penh, the Angkor Wat Temple and other cultural sites in Siem Reap province.-VNA
