Two of those killed were inside the building near Wichita’s Mid- Continent Airport when the plane crashed, and the pilot was also killed, CNN reported, adding that four people remain unaccounted for.

One of the injured is in serious condition and another in fair condition, a local hospital official told CNN. Three of the five people who were initially transported to the hospital have reportedly been treated and released.

The plane, a twin-engine Hawker Beechcraft B200 Super King Air, lost an engine on takeoff en route to Mena, Arkansas, CNN reported.

According to one aviation website, the aircraft can carry as many as 13 passengers. There were about 100 people inside the building when the accident happened, local sources told CNN.

Investigators from Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board are on the scene to investigate the cause of the crash.
