A flamenco dance show titled “The Small Things” with the performance of dancer Úrsula López will take place at Vietnam National Academy of Music in Hanoi on November 6.
The Small Things” is the newest flamenco project of Spanish dancer Úrsula López. López has had a long career, toured nationally and internationally with three shows. In “The Small Things”, she ‘confronts’ the dance floor with her experience to show Vietnamese audiences the little details that make up flamenco – her world.
Úrsula will dance alone to the guitar of Javier Patino and the voice of Gema Caballero, showcasing her purest dance in search of those little things that touch audiences’ souls and move them; where simplicity, basics and the truth dwells.
Audiences will travel through different landscapes with the dancer during the 75-minute performance.
Ursula López was born in Montilla (Córdoba). She began her academic formation at a very young age, graduating both in classical Spanish dance and ballet and soon traveled to Seville to pursue her studies in the discipline of flamenco with great masters such as Manolete and Manolo Marín.
She participated as a soloist in all the performances, traveling through the world´s main festivals and theaters.
People can register for free tickets via e-mail: spainvietnamlogo2017@gmail.com before October 30, and get with confirmation from the Embassy of Spain in Hanoi on November 2-3.
