The Swiss Fribourg choir, will perform in Hanoi on October 8, according to the Performing Arts Centre under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
During their stay in Vietnam, artists from the Fribourg choir will conduct a trans-Vietnam tour to learn more about the country’s cultural characteristics and carry out some charitable activities in southern cities and provinces.
In Hanoi, the art troupe will entertain the capital city’s audiences with outstanding performances on daily lives of nomads and country girls and sing children’s songs.
The program will take place in the Tuoi Tre (Youth) Theatre and tickets are free of charge to music lovers at the Performing Arts Centre at No 32, Nguyen Thai Hoc street.
Established in 1952, the Fribourg’ choir, Switzerland has specialised in performing folk songs about people living in the Alps. It is a favourite art troupe in Switzerland, which has given performances in many important cultural and political events in Switzerland and other nations in the world.
