VietNamNet Bridge – The HCM City Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera (HBSO) will perform a concert on June 19 with a line-up comprising both Vietnamese stars and internationally renowned artists.
Pianists Joo Eun Young and Ly Giai Hoa will join soprano Cho Hae Ryong, violinist Nguyen Truc Thuyen, cellist Nguyen Tan Anh, clarinetist Dao Nhat Quang, and bassoonist A Tach.
Korean singer Cho Hae Ryong won 2007 Competition of Romantic Music‘s First Prize and was awarded certificates of merit at the 2000 Obraztsova International Vocal Competition in Russia.
She has performed with the orchestra of Russia’s Novosibirsk Opera, the Kazakhstan National Symphony Orchestra, and the Busan and Seoul orchestras.
Pianist Joo Eun Young graduated from the Vienna State Conservatory with distinction in 2007 and earned her Master’s degree with distinction from the Moscow Gnessin Academy.
She won the “Erika Chary Foerder Preis” in Vienna in 2000 and the “Allegro Vivo” Prize at Vienna’s 2001 international music festival.
Joo has performed as part of a variety of international music events as well as Vietnamese charity concerts for people with disabilities.
