VietNamNet Bridge – HCMC Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera (HBSO) continues to introduce famous works of chamber music as part of ‘Young Melodies’ under the baton of conductor Tran Nhat Minh at 8 p.m. on Friday at the city’s Opera House.

The program aims to help audiences to sense more deeply and comprehensively about chamber music, its history as well as differences in combination between musical instruments and voices as well as similarity in structures and musical moves via solo, duet, trio or quartet performances. Audiences will have a chance to enjoy famous pieces by Mozart, Grieg and Rachmaninov via performances by HBSO’s artists Ly Giai Hoa, Cho Hae Ryong, Bui Anh Son, Dao Nhat Quang and Nguyen Tan Anh.
Works to be played are Ritual fire dance for solo piano, These Summer Nights and Vocalise for duet, solo and soprano, a duet between piano and clarinet for the work of Vasilenko, Peer Gynt by Greig, a quartet with piano for Mozart’s work and finally the piece ‘Time to say goodbye.’
Tickets are delivered freely at HCMC Student Supporting Center at 33 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street and HCMC Opera House at 7 Lam Son Square in District 1.
