VietNamNet Bridge – In continuation with the Liszt Recital 2016, this year, the themed series concert by pianist Luu Duc Anh will continue its 2nd issue with the works of Johannes Brahms on the occasion of the 120th death anniversary of the talented German composer.

The concert is a romantic classical performance of the most famous works by this remarkable composer in his days.

Duc Anh will play six music works at the concert: Theme and Variations Op. 18, Piano Sonata No. 3 Op. 5, Intermezzo No. 1 Op. 117, Rhapsody Op. 119, 16 Waltzes Op. 39 and Hungarian Dance No. 6.

After receiving the 1st Prize in Stockholm International Piano Competition 2017 and the Special Prize in the Alain Marinaro Competition in France, the young pianist Luu Duc Anh returns to Vietnam to perform with the hope of bringing classical music closer to the Vietnamese audience. Brahms Recital continues his piano series concert which started in 2016. The concert also aims to raise funds for the visually-impaired students in Vietnam National Academy of Music.
