The movie revolves around a Vietnamese-American girl whose name is Vivian (Ngan Khanh). This is the first time she has been in Vietnam and she takes full responsibility for the quality inspection of medical shipments which support cardiac surgery for children who have congenital heart problems. She comes under pressure from both her family and colleagues. Her parents make every effort to hinder her work in Vietnam. However, the young girl decides do things her way because this is the chance for her to be in her fatherland but also find her true love along the way. In the meantime, a group of overseas Vietnamese follows stealthily to take over the equipment package. Vivian finds herself struggling and fighting with them in the name of humanitarian work aiming to help people in Vietnam.
The film’s budget is 7 billion dong, invested in by overseas Vietnamese under the VME Company. The movie was shot in the city and southwestern provinces, but also in Sydney, Australia and the film effects were handled in Thailand.
