There are currently 62 households in the village who specialize in making steamed rice pancakes and griddle-cakes. This is 36% of the village’s population.
Luu Bao specialties are distributed to many markets in Hue, including Dong Ba and Tay Loc, and to neighboring provinces.
Steamed rice pancakes right out of the steamer are ready to eat, whereas griddle-cakes are sun-dried for 3 hours after cooking.
