Forty-one couples with disabilities joined a mass wedding ceremony in Hanoi on June 23.
The mass wedding ceremony was the first of its kind to be held in Hanoi, it was organised by the Centre for Women and Development. The newlyweds included 32 couples who are living in Hanoi and nine others from neighbouring localities. Many participating couples have had children for years but haven’t been able to afford their own weddings.
