VietNamNet Bridge – The way to Pha Luang is by slopes and jungles without sunlight. After a long and arduous day, you will reach the majestic peak of more than 2,000 meters above sea level.

Travelers have to go through dense forests and walk on many slopes.
The way to Pha Luong is unlike those to other famous peaks in Vietnam as Fansipan, Ta Chi Nhu and Pu Si Lung which have both slopes and valleys where tourists can recover strength, while Pha Luong has only slopes.
After crossing the bamboo forest, you can see virgin forests with hundreds of ancient trees.
At the altitude of 1,700m, there is a large cave, where tourists can stop and rest.
After more than four hours, you will reach Pha Luong peak. The surface of the peak is a huge flat rock, which divide the Vietnam – Laos border.

Pha Luong peak is at an altitude of 2,000 m above sea level, about 40 km from Moc Chau plateau, in Tan Xuan Commune, Chieng Xuan District.
From the top of Pha Luong, you can see the ridge line dividing the border. There are primary forests on Vietnam’s territory while there are bare hills in Laos.
In addition to Pha Luong, there are hundreds of rocky mountains in this area.
Another interesting thing is there is a maple forest on the way to
Pha Luong, which is very beautiful during the leaf-changing season.
