An exhibition on the Vietnamese Cultural Space opened in Florence
city, Tuscany region, Italy , on April 17, launching Vietnam Days in
Tuscany.
On display are images of Vietnam through different
periods of history, typical musical instruments, brocades, traditional
long dresses and publications on Vietnam’s tourism.
The
exhibition is part of the “Vietnam Year in Italy” to mark the 40th
anniversary of establishment of diplomatic ties between the two
countries. The programme includes various activities to be held
throughout the year in major Italian cities – Rome, Florence, Milan, Bologna and Venice.
Earlier, Vietnam Days in Rome was held by the Vietnamese Embassy, drawing the great attention of local people.
Vietnam Days Tuscany, which lasts until April 28, covers photo
exhibitions displays of handicrafts and fine arts, art performances,
fashion shows, and a forum on Vietnam-Italy economic investment.
Also
the same day, a photo exhibition on Vietnam-Italy solidarity in the
1960s-1970s was held by the Italy-Vietnam Friendship Society.-VNA
