Vietnam won the ASEAN friendship table-tennis tournament organised by the Vietnamese Embassy in Egypt on March 16.
The
event drew 50 competitors from eight ASEAN countries’ embassies in
Cairo, namely Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the
Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. They competed in
the men’s doubles and individuals.
Vietnamese Ambassador to
Egypt Dao Thanh Chung said Vietnam will coordinate with other
embassies to organise golf and football tournaments to strengthen
exchange and mutual understanding among countries.-VNA
