Vietnam will start their 2014 AFC U16 Championship qualification
campaign on September 25 when they kick off against Indonesia in
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Coach Dinh Van Dung’s
team, who are in Group J, will then face Japan on September 27 and the
Philippines two days later.
The qualifiers include 43 teams divided into 10 groups of five and four teams.
The winners of each group and the best five second-ranked teams from
all groups will qualify for the tournament in Thailand next year.-VNA
