VietNamNet Bridge – Song Lam Nghe An (SLNA) claimed an away draw at Hang Day Stadium yesterday, April 7, against hosts Ha Noi TT in a 2-2 stalemate in the fourth round of the V-League.
The draw takes SLNA to the top of the table with 10 points after four rounds.
The visitors took control of the game in the opening minutes of the match, and their dominance paid off in the ninth minute, when Trong Hoang opened the scoring for the visitors.
Ha Noi then went on the offensive as they looked to respond after conceding an early goal, but were unable to seal their attacking play with a goal.
After the break, the hosts resumed where they left off, and continued to combine well to create some dangerous chances in the opponents’ half. Their pressure paid off when Gonzalo put the ball past the keeper for an equaliser in the 65th minute.
Gonzalo was the hero again just 13 minutes later, when he doubled the score for the hosts after converting a free kick. Ha Noi tried to hold on to the lead, but with just 3 minutes to stoppage time, Hector applied the finishing touch for an 87th minute equaliser to finish the game at 2-2.
In the other match yesterday, Dong Nai drew at home against Hoang Anh Gia Lai 2-2 at Dong Nai Stadium.
On Saturday, Hai Phong displayed a composed performance to beat Becamex Binh Duong 2-0 at Binh Duong Stadium.
