VietNamNet Bridge – The Jr NBA Viet Nam 2014 All-Stars Basketball Team have completed a six-day trip to Beijing, China.

They were there to witness the 2014 NBA Global Games, presented by ZTE, between the Brooklyn Nets and the Sacramento Kings.
Headed by the first-ever Jr NBA Viet Nam 2014 “Coach of the Year” Mychal Nguyen, the team played friendly exhibition games with Jr NBA/ Jr WNBA All-Stars teams from the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia.
Jr NBA Coach Chris Sumner brought together players from all five countries to form five truly international teams to play friendly games with each other.
The games were played at the NBA Yao School, where Coach Mychal Nguyen led his All-Stars team to the finals with a record four wins and one loss. All 71 Jr NBA All-Stars players were able to meet NBA legends Peja Stojakovic, Sam Perkins and Vlade Divac, as well as special guest and former NBA great Yao Ming.
During the tour funded by FrieslandCampina Viet Nam’s Dutch Lady brand, the Vietnamese basketball team, consisting of 10 boys and four girls, also visited historical landmarks such as the Great Wall of China and the Forbidden City.
