Athletes from 27
countries and territories will compete at the 47th Asian Bodybuilding
and Fitness Championship, which is scheduled to kick off in Ho Chi
Minh City on August 30.
Around 350 male and
female competitors from Vietnam, China, India, Japan and
Thailand, among others, will vie for 36 sets of medals in
bodybuilding and physique categories.
Vietnamese
hopefuls such as Pham Van Mach, Nguyen Van Lam, Kim Loan and My Linh
stand a great chance to show off their muscles against regional rivals.
The annual tournament will enable athletes to gain
valuable experience and sharpen their skills in preparation for the
forthcoming 27th SEA Games in Myanmar this December.-VNA
