The first ever Winter Fair inspired by European culture will be held at
the Phu Tho Indoor Sports Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 11 from
December 19-22.
Winter Fair 2013 would feature song and dance
performances, food and games to introduce European winter festivals,
organisers said.
They also said the fair would add variety to the city’s year-end festivities.
Nearly 80 local and foreign enterprises as well as not-for–profit
organisations will display gifts, souvenirs, interior decorations, food
and beverages and other items at 150 booths.
Organisers will
invite 300 disadvantaged children from orphanages and child care centres
to attend the fair to enjoy the festival and receive gifts.
The
festival, jointly organised by ECT Communication Co. Ltd and the TDT
Event Company, is expected to attract 100,000 domestic and foreign
visitors.-VNA
