Vietnam’s national women’s team is still at the top of Southeast Asia
following FIFA’s ranking announcement for the third quarter of the
year.
The region’s champions have maintained their No 28
position in the world ranking while in Asia they are sixth, standing
behind Japan, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea ,
Australia , China and the Republic of Korea.
The
national team is now in intensive training in Da Lat before leaving for
practise in the Republic of Korea. They will then fly to Myanmar
to take part in the ASEAN women’s football championship next month.-VNA
