The Communist Party of India – Marxist ( CPI – M) treasures the
relations with the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), said the CPI – M
Politburo member Mariam Alexander Baby during his working visit to
Vietnam from March 25-31.
Baby praised Vietnam’s renewal (doi moi) process and the role of the CPV and the
Vietnamese Government in implementing the process.
He said the cause of renewal has received the support of the people, which is the factor behind its success.

which have contributed greatly to the development of Vietnam, he
According to Baby, the current visit of the
CPI – M delegation to Vietnam aims at strengthening the traditional
friendship ties between the two parties and peoples.
In the coming time, both parties should foster relations through the
exchange of delegations, theories and experiences in party building,
helping to further strengthen the multifaceted cooperation and strategic
partnership between Vietnam and India, he suggested.-VNA
