The Vietnam News Agency (VNA) has officially opened a bureau in Tel
Aviv, Israel, raising the number of its overseas bureaus to 30.
Together with the Cairo-based bureau in Egypt, the Tel Aviv bureau
will help VNA cover promptly, accurately and objectively the diverse
life in the Middle East, which is seen as a hot spot in the world’s news
arena.
Besides, the new office will help better
reflect Vietnam ’s developing relations with Middle East countries at a
time when Vietnam is speeding up its international integration
broadly.
In the recent years, two-way trade between
Vietnam and the Middle East countries increased strongly. Last year,
the figure with Israel only reached 439 million USD, up 17 percent
from 2011.-VNA
