Vietnam has successfully produced shoes for diabetic patients for the
first time, offering more choices at reasonable prices for local
consumers.
The good news was announced at a seminar
on diabetic shoes held on March 14 in Hanoi by the National
Hospital for Endocrinology and the Vietnam Leather and Shoe Research
Institute.
Director of the institute’s Training
Centre Tran Thi Tuyet Mai said that the institute is currently selling
six models of diabetic shoes.-VNA
