The countryside market amid capital city
Only 30 km from the center of Hanoi, Nua market in Thach That district still retains the character of the ancient fair of the northern plain.

Vieng or Hell markets in Vu Ban district, Nam Dinh is very famous because it is a market for good luck.
This market opens from the midnight of the 7th and last until the end of the 8th day of the lunar year. It sells everything from farm equipment to pots, dishes, plants … Many people come here with the hope to buy an item for good luck.
Vieng market this year took place at the end of the week so it attracted a large number of visitors.
Unique antique market in Hanoi
The antique market opens at the intersection of Hang Ma, Hang Luoc and Hang Dong streets, Ha Noi from 20th to 30th of the 12th lunar month.
The market attracts both domestic and foreign visitors. According to the interpretation of antique sellers, buying antiques for the new year is to keep the old definition and to pray for good luck.
The fair for children
Goi Market, held at the communal house of Goi village, Thai Binh province, opens only on the morning of the 2nd day of the year. The goods are mainly toys and the customers are children or their parents.
This toy market has been held for a few decades. It was firstly formed by to he (traditional toys made from rice powder and artificial coloring) makers, who showcased their products at the communal house to lure kids.
Bird market
This “market” only sells wild birds as ornamental birds. It is located on Nguyen Huu Tho Street, Hai Chau District, Da Nang city.
