Top lawmakers have agreed that this year they would speed up the
issuance of documents guiding the implementation of laws and decrees.
Many laws and decrees were so general that additional documents had to
be issued explaining how to implement them in practical terms,
Chairwoman of the NA Committee for Social Affairs Truong Thi Mai said at
the working day of the National Assembly (NA)’s Standing Committee in
Hanoi on April 15.
“However, those documents have often failed to be issued by the deadline, causing problems for law enforcement,” Mai said.
NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung agreed, urging relevant units to address
whatever factors were delaying the issuance of these documents.-VNA
