Deputy Defense Minister Senior Lieutenant-general Nguyen Chi Vinh on
Feb. 28 received German Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to
Vietnam Jutta Frasch.
The two appreciated
cooperation between Vietnam and Germany in many fields, including
defense and security, over the time.
They also exchanged opinions on regional and international issues of common concerns.
In the coming time, militaries of Vietnam and Germany should
strengthen and expand cooperation in an efficient and comprehensive
manner, focusing on delegation exchanges, sharing experiences before
Vietnam joins UN peace-keeping forces, officer training, defense
industry, mine clearance, dioxin detoxication, and military medicine.-VNA
