The Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee (CPVCC)’s Inspection
Commission has convened its 24th session in Hanoi.
During the July 18-29 session, the commission considered and made
conclusions on the handling of accusations against Party members managed
by the CPVCC Politburo and Secretariat as well as proposed punishments
on Party organisations and members who had committed violations.
It announced the results of inspection on the implementation of
examination, supervision and execution of punishment against the
standing boards and inspection commissions of the Party Committees of
Hai Phong city, and Ben Tre, Cao Bang, Kon Tum and Hoa Binh provinces.
The commission considered the results of inspection
on Party finance for the standing boards of the Party Committees of Yen
Bai and Vinh Phuc provinces, while dealing with complaints about Party
disciplinary measures against six Party members.
It
also discussed a report of the Politburo and the Party Charter
Subcommittee on draft amendments to the 7 th and 8 th chapters of the
11 th Party Charter on inspection and supervision to be submitted to
the 12 th National Party Congress, as well as some draft decisions on
the work.-VNA
