Hundred couples who work at the city’s numerous factories will hold a group wedding on September 2, organised by the Young Employee Assistance Centre (YEAC).
The Young Employee Assistance Centre on September 2 will organise a group wedding for 100 couples who are poor factory workers.
The wedding is set to take place at Queen Plaza Ky Hoa Wedding Event Centre in HCM City’s District 10.
Each couple has been provided a wedding table worth of VNĐ5 million (US$220), two wedding rings, flowers, wine, and photo services, among others.
In addition, each couple will receive one year of free medical check-ups, supermarket vouchers and helmets, among other items.
According to Duong Ngoc Tuan, director of YEAC, the centre has organised weddings for 722 couples in the past 10 years.
