CJ Group expects to harvest bout 3,000 tonnes of dried chillies each
year, which will then be shipped to CJ Group’s processing factories
based in China, the RoK and several others in the world.
Chang
Bok Sang, President of CJ Group in Vietnam, said the group wants to
plant ten varieties of chilli imported from China and the RoK on a trial
basis for one year.
If the result is good, the group will
carry out a decade-long project, starting from 2014, he said, adding
that the group will build a chilli processing and packaging factory in
the province.
