Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam has told authorities of central Khanh
Hoa province to endeavour to turn the locality into a development centre
in the south central coastal region.
To realise the goal, the
Deputy PM asked the province to closely work with central ministries and
sectors to take solutions for smoothly implementing policies and
mechanisms toward a sustainable development in the future, said a
statement issued by the Government Office on July 31 regarding his
recent working session with provincial leading officials.
During
the session, Dam praised efforts and socio-economic achievements made by
Khanh Hoa in recent time, while suggesting the province call for more
social involvement in health care with focus on the building of
hospitals and health care services for people.
The provincial
People’s Committee needs to enhance its management on tourism and
personnel training for the sector, helping improve service quality and
promote Vietnam’s image, he said.-VNA
