Vietnam Airlines will launch direct flights from the central city of Da
Nang to Seoul in the Republic of Korea and Siem Reap in Cambodia on July
1 to tap the increasing numbers travelling these routes, the national
flag carrier said on June 28.
Using an Airbus 321, three direct flights will connect Da Nang and Seoul on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Flights will depart from Da Nang at five minutes past midnight, and
from Seoul at nine thirty AM. The Da Nang-Seoul flight time is 4 hours,
and 5 hours return.
Meanwhile, an ATR-72 aircraft
will fly each way on the daily Da Nang-Siem Reap route. One way will
take 2 hours, 25 minutes.
These are the second and
third new international direct flights Vietnam Airlines has launched
this year, increasing the carrier’s total to 90 routes.
The two new routes are expected to work as transport bridges linking
Vietnam with the Republic of Korea and Cambodia, contributing to
promoting economic, cultural and tourism cooperation between the
countries.-VNA
