For the purpose of intensifying bilateral trade ties and helping the two
sides’ enterprises update information on each country’s market, the
Vietnam-South Africa Trade Exchange was held on March 21 in Ho Chi
Minh City.
Jointly held by the Vietnam Chamber of
Commerce and Industry (VCCI) and the South African Embassy in Vietnam,
the event witnessed the participation of South African companies that
specialise in foodstuff, steel processing and training services seeking
partners in Vietnam.
On the same day, a workshop
was arranged by the US Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam to raise
investment and business opportunities between Vietnam and the Island
of Guam ’s enterprises.
According to the French
Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam , it will co-organise the
France-Vietnam Business Forum scheduled for April 7–9 with the VCCI.
The forum expects to attract over 100 French companies operating in the
fields of infrastructure, food industry and consumer goods.-VNA
