Amway to build second plant in Viet Nam
HA NOI (VNS)— Amway, one of the world’s largest direct selling companies, has announced its plan to build a second plant in Viet Nam with a total investment of US$20 million.
Amway President Doug DeVos said on Tuesday that the plant will cover more than 65.6sq.km in the Viet Nam-Singapore Industrial Park in the southern province of Binh Duong.
Work on the plant will kick off later this year.
According to the plan, during the first stage the plant will focus on producing Nutrilite with an annual capacity of $200 million worth of products. Doug DeVos said his company believes in Viet Nam’s strong development potential and has a long-term investment strategy in the market. — VNS
